OTR Trainer
This is not a promotion - it is a responsibility. Trainers here do not just log miles with a body in the passenger seat. You are building the next driver on this fleet. The person in your truck is going to carry your habits, your standards, and your name. If that does not matter to you, this is not your role.
What you earn
- • $2,000/week guaranteed base while a trainee is assigned
- • +$0.25 per mile for every mile your trainee drives
- • Between assignments, you revert to your experience-tier guaranteed pay - no gap, just a different rate
- • Same benefits as every company driver - health insurance, PTO, OTR bonuses, family leave
Trainer assignments depend on program demand and eligibility review.
What this role demands
- • Safety-first habits that you live, not just talk about
- • ELD/HOS discipline and clean documentation - every time
- • Calm communication. Professional coaching. Patience that holds under pressure.
- • Consistent standards - no shortcuts, no “just this once”
Non-negotiables
- • Drug testing - pre-employment and random
- • Uniforms on duty (sizes collected during application)
- • The trainee who comes out of your truck should be a driver any carrier would want. That is the bar.
